Panic Mode

I went out to celebrate my friends 21st birthday this evening.  During our celebration, her husband looked at me and said do you guys (me and my husband) want to come to my parents cottage for a little get together on Sunday?  I said yes.
Then they start talking about taking the boat out on the lake (during the get together).
...wait...boat?...that means swim suit...umm....I'M STILL FAT!!!
But I had already said yes and I can't just be like "no I'm not skinny enough to come to your get together this weekend." Even though that's what I really wanted to say.
So anyways, I'm in dire need to lose 10 pounds by Sunday.  Does anyone have any ideas for this?  I know its probably too much in a short amount of time, but I'm desperate.  I also know that I will still be fat in 10 pounds but its better then where I am now.  I would appreciate any advice you guys have, thanks!


  1. Recommendation: 3-day water fast combined with exercise of either walking or yoga. You should be able to shed AT LEAST 3 pounds by Sunday if you do that. It will be hard (3-day fasts always are), but you'll feel better in a bikini, that's for certain! :)

  2. Like Lita said, a water fast would probably be your best option. Although you could probably go running or biking the first day and the second go easier and the third stick to walking and yoga. Just listen to your body and don't try to push to hard. We don't need you passing out. And try doing calisthenics - crunches, squats, push-ups, ect every day so that you can be a little more toned. You may not lose 10 lbs but you'll probably be a little more comfortable.
