Another loss

This morning I was 1.6 pounds down from yesterday :) I was totally psyched when I stood on that scale . I even stood on it like 4 times to make sure it was right.  If I stick to my challenge and my shakes like I'm supposed to, it really works.  I'm kinda worried now though, because I'm at the beach visiting friends and that means we're going to go out to eat tonight so I have to be able to control my self.  I don't have a lot of self control when it comes to food. I don't want to ruin everything I just did!

My friend owns insanity, so we're going to do that later on.  Hopefully that will help combat anything that I eat.  I'm just hoping that I'm able to not eat like a little piggy.

In two weeks, we're going to visit my husbands family.  We lived up there for around 2 years so I'll get to see some of my old friends as well.  I'm hoping to be at least in the 140s by the time we leave to go there. I started my blog when we lived there....that's when I was around 165...I think I was only around 157-160 when we left.  I really want people to look at me and say "have you lost weight?"  That would be amazing.  As of this morning  I was 153.2, if I can lose 3.4 pounds, I would be happy.  I'd love to lose more, though before we go.  Maybe, 5-10 pounds.

Lax SUCKS

This afternoon I took 3 laxatives....did they work? NO! WTH!! Now I just feel like I have to throw up...maybe I should. That would make me feel better after the crappy day of eating I've had.  That's the reason I took the lax to begin with.

Ugh and now I can't workout because my stomach hurts! This was dumb.  Why aren't they doing their job? I even drank it with a glass of water like it said.  I also had coffee, which is supposed to make you go to the bathroom as well.  Not a huge fan of taking these things and not getting results.

So in other news, I'm still fat.  I went out last night and a few people were like "you look so skinny." In my head I'm going, "You're full of crap! Have you seen the numbers on my scale? They haven't moved!"  Maybe it was because I wore one of those flowy shirts that hides my fat.

I'm going to the beach tomorrow...by myself. Fun fun (sarcasm). I'm going to visit friends but they have to work.  But they live like 2 blocks from the beach so I'll just go hang out there.  At least there won't be anyone there that I know to judge my whale likeness in my bathing suit.  I hope I don't blind anyone.

I need to run more or do more of something...or less of eating. Ugh, I'm a failure. I don't have the willpower to not eat.  Anyways, I was down like . 8lbs this morning.  Not much to celebrate, especially considering it's going to be back up in the morning because of the way I ate today.

No cal no problem

I've been trying to make a list of food or drinks that are really good to keep in the house.  Foods/Beverages that are either 0 cals or NO cals.  I'd prefer no calories, but that is almost next to impossible. 

No Calorie/0 Calorie food and beverages that I have come up with:

-Diet sodas or coke zero
-Green tea (unsweetned)
-0 cal drink mix
-Most fresh veggies: broccoli, carrots, cucumber, lettuce, spinach, tomatoes, celery, peppers, radish, asparagus, califlauer,  etc
-Also, for salads the dressing sprays.  Only 3 calories per spray since it is difficult to eat a salad with no dressing.
-Fruits...STAY AWAY FROM BANANAS! Granted they have tons of potassium, but they have over 100 calories in 1 banana and tons of sugar. 
-Pickles
-Sourkraut
-Mushrooms (also have the texture of meat when cooked)
-Shrimp
-Canned Tuna
-Mustard
-Soy sauce
-Flounder
-Laughing cow cheese triangles (Only 45 calories per triangle)
-Salsa
-Non-fat plain yogurt
-Balsamic vinegar

I'm going to keep adding to my list as we go along. If anyone knows of anything else that would be good for this list let me know!

Tired of letting everyone down

I'm so tired of letting everyone down. I let you guys down and I let myself down.  I was going back to when I started this blog...May 2011.  OVER A YEAR AGO....I've only lost around 10 lbs...why do I suck so much?? WTH? 10 lbs...that's all...that is nothing to celebrate.  I seriously need to do something...NOW.

I'm dog sitting tonight and the owner likes for the dog to get a ton of exercise. I'm going to use that as my excuse to keep running and walking, because the owner wants me to.  Maybe I'll be down.  I told you guys I'd post a body picture when I'd lost 20lbs. I've failed you guys as well as myself.  I haven't even been able to post a picture for you guys.  My goal is still 120.  I'm at 155.  That's such a fat weight. Ugh!

My work has this get fit/healthy/challenge thing going.  You get a partner and you set a goal and you have to reach it by September 30.  Well I wasn't going to do it because I don't like to publicize my dieting efforts mainly because I get a lot of crap. But my coworker asked me today if I wanted to join the challenge.  With this challenge you tell your partner your goal then you set rewards and consequences.  For example if she doesn't reach it she has to do something and if she does reach her goal I have to do something for her.  I'm trying to think of something I REALLY wouldn't want to do if I don't hit my goal.  Any ideas???  My goal is to be down 15 lbs by September 30.  Hopefully I can do this.

I'm sorry for letting you all down. I will do better.

Kicking the addiction

Ugh! So with these shakes, I no longer crave sodas which means I'm no longer taking in caffeine.  I am finding out quickly though, that my body is addicted to caffeine.  Now I have to deal with these "withdrawal" symptoms until my body gets rid of the addiction.  This is NOT fun.

I'm too ADD for an ED

Last night I was telling my friend all about this challenge that I'm on. She's all about giving me a lecture about how it's not good to only have shakes for meals.  And then I get another lecture about how I focus too much on the numbers on the scale.  She even started talking about how I was going to get an eating disorder.  I had to tell her I was too ADD that I wouldn't have an ED long enough for it to even matter. SERIOUSLY, stop giving me a hard time. The numbers are important to me!  UGH! I hate it when people give me a hard time about what I'm eating.  Seriously, mind your own business!

Sorry for my rant. I just get so tired of being lectured. Dang, I'm old enough to make decisions for myself and I'd appreciate you getting off my back.

Anyways, I've lost about 2 pounds on my challenge so far.  Not as fast as I would like. Today I found this photo that compared the cost of all these major commercial programs.  The one I'm doing is visalus and it is amazing! For dinner tonight I had a banana pudding shake....it was amazing! I'll give you guys an updated weight tomorrow, I wasn't able to weigh this morning!

Day 1

This morning I started out my 90 day challenge with a shake that's only 90 calories and tastes like a peanut butter cup! It was amazing!

Starting weight for this challenge is 155.  I also took my measurements but I don't have them right in front of me to give them to you but I will most definitely let you know my results.  I was looking through the recipe book of all the shakes you could make and there are over 300.  I think for my 2nd shake today I'm going to have key lime pie. I've never been so excited to be on a weight loss challenge!

What is this challenge?

Hello party people! I've missed you so much and I've enjoying catching up on all of your blogs!

So I've had a few people ask me about this challenge.  You can go here to check out the challenge...this is my friend's website that got me into this challenge:  90 day challenge!!  Simply, these are meal replacement shakes that are ONLY 90 calories!!  And because of how much nutrition they have in them you will have tons of energy which is a lot different then what you'll get from restricting.  This is the main reason I'm so excited about it!!  My friend has already done it and in the first week she lost 9 pounds and 15 inches.  If you are interested in trying out these shakes you can also purchase from them from the above website.  The best part is the shakes taste like cake batter!! But you can also add other stuff in it if you want to add variety. There are over 200 different recipes including peanut butter cup, mocha and coffee.
