Skinny Recipes for the Holidays

Since there are many holidays approaching that are mainly centered around food,  I am going to start posting recipes, one or two every few days, that are "skinny" recipes.  For example, if you really like mashed potatoes, I'll post a low-fat/fat free recipe.  So what I need all of you to do is leave some comments on the type of foods you would like for me to post.

Also, if you haven't given me your updated weight loss for the Christmas Thin Challenge, please do so, asap.  I will be posting how much each person as lost so far on the challenge tonight.

Time for a Christmas Challenge Check-in!!!

Christmas THIN diet Challenge Begins!! (Updated)

I'm so glad that many of you have jumped on board for the Christmas challenge.  I am wanting to lose 20 lbs by Christmas, which is 4 weeks away.  I am going to post everyone's progress (that is doing the challenge) on my blog weekly. My current plan to lose the weight is to stick with HCG.  However, I will do the diet like I am supposed to and not by cheating all of the time. See below at all those who are participating:

DIET CHALLENGE: Christmas Thin

Posting this on Thanksgiving is probably the worst idea ever, however, I want to have a Christmas challenge.  As of right now, I'm about 150 lbs.  I want to be 130 by Christmas.  Yes, I know, 20 lbs in a month is a lot, BUT, I think I can do it.  I would also like to invite all of you in on this challenge.  You can set your own goals, but if you have other people doing it with you, it should help.

Skinny Girl Ice Cream

Something I have recently discovered is Skinny Girl Ice Cream.  It comes in small (probably around 5 ounce containers) and it's about $1.50 per container.  However, it is a nice treat and it's only 150 calories.  That has started to be my treat, when I really want one.

Today in class we were talking about blogs and the professor asked who had one.  I raised my hand (real smart right).  The he asked what kind of blog I had.  I said it's a diet and exercise blog.  Then one of my classmates was like "you have to send me the link."  I definitely don't think I'm going to do that.

Also, I'm still on HCG and yes it is still working.  Someone today (that sees me almost everyday) asked if i was losing weight.  This made me super happy! :) Yay, someone finally noticed!

Oh...the HCG weigh!

I just wanted to give everyone a quick update.  My weight is around 154, which is 3 pounds lower than last time.  Now before you jump to conclusions and say "HCG doesn't work like it is supposed to," let me give you some information.  For the past week and a half I have literally been pigging out...a.k.a Mcdonalds, Burger King, Sports Bars, buffets, cupcakes, candy, etc.  You name it, I have probably indulged in it the past week.  Obviously, NOT the diet I am supposed to be sticking to with the HCG drops.  On the days I ate upwards of 3,000 to 4,000 calories I did not gain one pound.  I maintained the weight I was.  This shows me that the drops DO work.  Because if I were to eat that much without the drops, I would have gained 3-5 pounds.  Yesterday I jumped back into eating like I am supposed to (for the most part) and I am already down a pound.  So no, I probably won't lose 30 pounds in 30 days, but not because the drops don't work, but because I decided to eat like a pig!

3 pounds down in 4 days!

As promised, I said I would provide information on how I was doing on the HCG diet.  I'd say the HCG drops really work.  On day one I started out at 160.4, today (day 4) I weighed in at 157.  I have even more eating more than the recommended calories usually 200-500 calories more and I have still been losing.  So far so good :)

Quick update on the HCG diet

I started the HCG diet this morning.  My starting weight is 160.4 and my goal weight is 120.  For the first two days (while taking the drops) you eat as you normally would.  I will keep everyone updated every few days to let you know how my weight loss is doing on this diet.  At the end, if it works, I will post the website that I bought my drops from.

I got my drops, time to lose 30 lbs in 30 days.

I received my HCG drops in the mail today!!! I am super excited!! However, I am going out of town this week, so I am going to start this diet on Saturday!  Trust me I will keep everyone updated and let you know of my progress. I really hope this works! Wish me luck :)

My new diet

I didn't receive many responses from you guys about the HCG diet, so I went ahead and decided to try it.  I  just purchased the HCG drops about 30 minutes ago.  It says they should be delivered in a week or two.  As soon as I get them I will start my diet :).  It promises at least a pound a day.  HOPEFULLY, they work. I will make it to my goal weight in no time.  I have 35 pounds that I still want to lose and I want the HCG diet to take me there.  See pictures below of what I will look like after HCG (hopefully). :)

Hi all! Quick post...has anyone tried the HCG diet?  The diet that allows you to lose 1-2 pounds a day guaranteed?  I was thinking about trying it and I wanted to know if anyone on here has had any results with it.

a new kind of fat....

Like I said, I had gained most of my weight back, so right now I'm at the horrible number of 162.6.  Can you really fathom that number?  It is a horrible number! It's like I stand on the scale and wanna scream every single time.  I hate it.  On another side, I joined a gym, but it's so hard to get my school work done and workout.  So I've solved that problem by reading (my textbooks) while I'm on the bike.  I just do a higher level so it burns more calories.  I burned 220 in about 35 minutes last night.  That's not an outrageous amount, but it's better than nothing.  I WILL be thin.  I graduate with my masters in December. I want to be 125 by the time I graduate.  But here's what I want you guys to do.  If I write that I'm doing badly, just tell me to stop being a freaking slacker and get my butt in gear!  Kind of be like a coach.  I would really appreciate that.

Back to square one

I'm back to being a total fatty.  I'm back to only being 2 pounds below my original starting weight.  Why am I failing miserably at this losing weight thing.  I seriously just want to cry.
My husband and I recently moved and we were going through my underwear to pack things up.  We went through several pairs where he said "these are sexy, why don't you ever wear these?"  BECAUSE I'M A FREAKING FATTY AND THEY DON'T FIT ANYMORE, THAT'S WHY!!!!
Oh and on top of being a fatty, guess what I had for dinner......3 slices of pizza.  Yep, that certainly helps Miss Fatty McFatFat.  UGH!! I'm so frustrated right now.  Hardly any of my clothes fit.  For the cruise I just went on, I had to buy a bunch of sundresses to cover my fat.  Oh and then my husband and I met two other couples and those girls just so happened to be size 0.  Way to make me feel even more fat. I'm just really sad right now by my weight.  I'm going to post some reverse thinspo because that is how I feel right now!

My new love

Yesterday I got to the gym at 5:30 and then I decided I wanted to do this yoga class that started at 7:45.  Basically I did cardio until my yoga class.  Anyways, I've only ever done one yoga class in my entire life and I absolutely loved it.  I want to keep doing it!  It is so fabulous! I felt really skinny doing it, is that weird? Also, I burned close to 1000 calories at the gym yesterday.  It felt amazing.  I'm pretty sure I ruined it today by eating Chipotle. Oh well, I am not going to stress about it because I have to do a lot of packing and moving so hopefully I will burn all of it off.  How is everyone?  I am trying to keep up with blogs but I'm not able to comment on everyone's so don't get mad at me, please :)

Hi Ladies! I've missed you! I'm back from Florida! Good news is, I only gained a pound.  Which is very nice because I thought I had gained at least 10.  So needless to say I was happy.  Granted a gain is NEVER good, but it was not as bad as I had expected.  So now I have another week to lose more weight.  I leave on Saturday to go on a cruise.  I'm hoping to get a nice tan this time.  I didn't get that good of a tan in Florida.  I know, it's horrible!  Anyways, enjoy some pictures below :)

It is crunch time ladies and gents (if any gents read my blog).  I head to Florida in 2 weeks from yesterday.  That means bikini every single day.  Which ALSO means I need to bust my butt hardcore between now and then.  I've eaten healthy and worked out everyday this week.  I need to keep it up!  My goal is to lose 6 pounds before I leave.  I decided to set a realistic goal instead of being disappointed if I didn't hit a goal such as 10 pounds (which is what I would REALLY like to lose).  Another thing, 1 week after I get back from Florida I am going on a cruise.  Guess what that means....another week of a bikini.  It's going to be hard eating healthy in Florida.  Wish me luck!

Gain no more!

So I pretty much gave up on the SGD.  It wasn't really working for me anymore.  Mainly because I don't have self control.
I know I had mentioned before that my husband lifts weights a lot and is pretty much a body builder.  He is going to start a personal training class soon so he can get his certification.  I am his first "victim."  Haha, not really victim, but he's training me.  I had gained back up to 162, but with his help I'm back down to 159.  He's actually really good at this and even though sometimes I want to bop him on the head I know I'm going to be gracious when I have the body that I want.  I really want to give you guys some pictures but I haven't had any change to provide you guys with them.  Ugh, so frustrating.
I haven't been on here in a while and I've been neglecting a lot of blogs so I'm going to spend about 20 minutes and comment on some blogs.  I'll post some pictures for you to enjoy :).
