Operation: Failure

Sorry, I haven't updated in a few days, I've been really busy.  So, I didn't lose the 10 pounds in 3 days.  I only lost the 1.8 which isn't a TOTAL failure because I at least lost something.  Also, I went to an amusement park today and it was REALLY hot outside so I'm thinking I burned a ton of calories walking around the park.
Good news about the boat party, though.  The weather got really bad so I didn't have to be seen in my swim suit.  YAY!!!
Also, I'm trying a new strategy. One that's worked for me in the past.  I'm going to consume some sort of food every 2-3 hours to kick start my metabolism.  I lost 15 pounds in the past using this strategy.  Even if its only a fruit or some veggies, as long as I eat something.  The reason I am doing this is because I think my body is getting comfortable with the current things I've been doing. I'm going to try to keep my caloric intake around 800 or less. I will continue to work out too.   However, when I get to around 140-145 I will start the 2-4-6 diet.  I will use the same strategy though, just consume the right amount of calories.

Operation lose 10lbs in 3 days Day 2

This morning I weighed in at 158.6. That's a 1.8 lb loss from yesterday.  Not as much as I was hoping for, but at least it's a loss.  I only had time to do half of a workout video this morning.  So that was only 300 calories. I'll make up for it this afternoon with a couple more videos.  I'm planning on doing the ab video and that will burn 200 calories and then the cardio video which will burn 600.  Also, I'm babysitting tonight so I'll burn about 150 calories playing with the kids.  My goal for today is to have at least a negative intake of 600 calories. 
For breakfast this morning I had a slice of peanut butter toast.  That's 185 calories.  So far this morning, my intake is -115
I will do another update on my Operation lose 10lbs in 3 days this evening.  Also, that's a  really long name, I'm going to call it OL10P3D :).  I want to be 150 by Sunday, let's see if I can get there.

Update: Operation lose 10lbs in 3days

I ended up consuming veggies, hummus, and pita bread for dinner.  This was around 275 calories.  So I added some extra walking into my day.  Also, instead of doing the p90x stretch video, I'm going to do a more hardcore workout.  I'm going to repeat this morning's workout.  In the end I will finish up with a negative intake.  My intake will be  -881 calories!!! 


Also, I want to say thank you for all the motivation you guys are giving me.  It helps push me more to reach my goal of 10 pounds in 3days.  Thank you all for being there for me.  We are a team! 


Operation lose 10 lbs in 3 days commence

This morning I weighed in at 160.4, A GAIN!!! Anyways, that just means I need to work that much harder! I've already done my workout this morning.  I did a p90x cardio video.  I actually finished it so I burned 600 calories.  For food I'm having a meal replacement shake so I can recover from my workout because p90x workouts are really hardcore.  The shake is 180 calories.  Tonight after class I'm going to do the p90x Stretch video.  That one is pretty much stretching for an hour, but it burns 250 calories.  That way I won't need a meal replacement shake.  Total calories for today will be -650 calories!  I will be doing 2-a-day workouts until Sunday.  I will also be doing weight up dates everyday.

Panic Mode


I went out to celebrate my friends 21st birthday this evening.  During our celebration, her husband looked at me and said do you guys (me and my husband) want to come to my parents cottage for a little get together on Sunday?  I said yes.
Then they start talking about taking the boat out on the lake (during the get together).
...wait...boat?...that means swim suit...umm....I'M STILL FAT!!!
But I had already said yes and I can't just be like "no I'm not skinny enough to come to your get together this weekend." Even though that's what I really wanted to say.
So anyways, I'm in dire need to lose 10 pounds by Sunday.  Does anyone have any ideas for this?  I know its probably too much in a short amount of time, but I'm desperate.  I also know that I will still be fat in 10 pounds but its better then where I am now.  I would appreciate any advice you guys have, thanks!

Negative intake!

Yesterday's fast was successful.  Today, I indulged a little and ate a breakfast of about 450 calories.  I had chicken mini's from Chick-fil-a and a regular coke.  Not too bad if I do say so myself.  And then dinner is about about 240 calories.  But after working out I'm at -60 calories.  Yay! I love negative intake days!!!


My workout for today consisted of 3 different things.  P90X, DDR, and playing in the rain.  Yes, that's right, I went outside and played in the rain.  Burned about 50 calories, but that's better than nothing.  It was a lot of fun and it made me happy.

I only made it through half of a p90x video.  It was a cardio one.  Each video burns about 600 calories.  So I only burned 300 there.  But then I did the ab video and that burned 200 more.  After that was some DDR (dance dance revolution).  The video game has a workout mode so you can set how many calories you want to burn and it tells you when you've reached your goal.  It's really cool!

Just another manic Monday

Today my goal is to consume 600 calories or less. Hopefully less, but we'll see how that goes. Tomorrow I will fast. I'm actually looking forward to it since I screwed up this weekend.

Also, I don't know if you pay attention to my daily intake tab, but I'm not going to be updating that tab on the weekends because that's usually when I screw up.

So I know this isn't about me, but my mom and I have been working on losing weight together because she's taking me on a cruise at the end of the year, or the beginning of the next.  She's going the weight watchers route.  She's lost 12 pounds in 2 weeks.  I'm so excited for her!  Back-story on my mom.  She used to be REALLY skinny, but then I asked her to quit smoking (because I wanted her to be healthy and I wanted to keep her around as long as possible because my mom is one of my best friends).  Once she quit smoking she pretty much controlled her cravings by food and she gained over 70 pounds.  I'm really happy for her weight loss. :) 


On a side note, the homework I was telling you about, that had to be done by 6pm last night...well the teacher was grading us on it and going to put us all in groups of 5 to work together for the rest of the semester based on how we did on the homework.  (I'm studying business so everything we do is in groups).  My friend and I were upset because we really wanted to be together.  We had a 16.68% chance (yes I like math) of being together and we actually got placed in the same group!  This makes me really happy!  Yesterday, was such a fabulous day :)

You ARE beautiful!

I wanted to step aside from food, calories, exercise, etc. for just a moment.  I know that all of us have a weight goal in mind that we want to achieve.  Whether its 100 or 150 pounds, we all have a goal.  I just wanted to say to all of you that you are beautiful regardless of how much you weigh.  Even if you aren't at the weight you want to be, you are still beautiful and don't let anyone tell you differently, including yourself.  I know that all of us have traits we don't like about ourselves, but don't let that take over your thoughts.  I am going to post pictures of women that aren't necessarily the skinniest women, but they are beautiful.

Yummy Goodness

Just a little bit of information for everyone.  I bought cans of fruit from Walmart.  Peaches, pineapple, Fruit Cocktail, etc.  The fruit is packed in water and there is no sugar added.  Depending on the fruit, there is about 50 calories per serving!  I had a whole can for lunch today and only had 175 calories.


Also, it is sweetened with Splenda!! I just wanted to share this with all of you.  I'll probably do this every so often.  Later on this weekend, I'll add a recipe for my the salad that I made.  It's great! I hope everyone is having a great Friday!!!

Change of Pace

Today ended up not being a fasting day.  I was doing so well and then at around 3 my boss asked me if I wanted to go to a meeting and I said yes.  Well on the way to the meeting she told me the reason she invited me to come along is because there was going to be cake and she didn't want me to miss out.  I wish she would have told me beforehand, but then there was no way I could just sit there and not eat any with out people asking questions.  So reluctantly I had the piece of cake. 


I added a new tab.  I added pictures taken when I was at 161.  I know, they're gross.  I hope they don't hurt your stomach.  BUT, my plan is to add new pictures every 10 to 15 pounds I lose.  Hopefully, it happens quickly.  I certainly do not like those pictures.  Maybe one day I can be someones thinspiration, but until then, I have posted some pictures of others below.
